The Brice's

I met Tiff when she was home for the summer from BYU in 1997, maybe?? We quickly became the best of friends, and she now lives in Vegas with her hubby and three kids. She came down for the first weekend that we were in town. We used to spend every Sunday up at her parents house after church. Dinner and milk shakes....man I miss those Sundays.
Tiff and I will all of our kids
just the kids

Brice and Izzy. They are exactly 2 months apart.

kids playing on the trampoline....we used to sleep on that in the summer.

Evan fell asleep between the piano and the TV cabinet.

The Beach

So excited that we made it to the beach! We had such a good time. ONCE we found it! Yeah, we got lost. I did take a picture of looking back at all of the umbrellas....it was post-card like. BEAUTIFUL. Even better we got to spend it with my mom, Michelle and her family and her mom got to come too!

Lizard hunting

The morning after we arrived my mom decided to take the kids out lizard hunting..... we found one .... I jump and screamed (like the girl that I am) and that intern scared the kids who originally thought that it was cool....and I believe they were going to catch it....EW...GROSS...and to think I really forgot about the CA lizards.

Mr. J's donuts

This is Mr. J....or at least it is his donut shop....I really don't even know if he is the real "Mr. J"?
This is the donut shop

One table.....

The other table

Evans first donut-the boy was LOVING it!!!

If ever in Redlands you HAVE to stop by Mr. J's donuts. The best donuts. Fresh, and fluffy, and just scrumpcilousish (is this even a word???? and if it is I am sure that it isn't spelled right).....it is across the street from K-Mart. I just had to. We went multiple times. In high school it was tradition to go in your pj's for my friend Michelle and I. So one morning when the kids got up EARLY I woke dad up and we went. My parents were just too cool to follow the pj's tradition....but it was 6:30 in the morning. I was not changed yet, and the kids loved it. AND yes that is my Redlands High School gym shirt....yes the one that I wore in high school, and yes it has seen better days. It makes a great pj shirt.

In N' Out

We just had to stop. It was on the list of place that we HAD to eat at. Our list was small this time around. Cuca's, Surfer Joe's, In N' Out, El Pollo Loco, Carl Jr., and maybe one more....oh...yeah a restaurant in San Diego...we never made it. Both Kris and I were disappointed in Cuca's. BUT we did enjoy In N' Out. Two of the kids had a VERY hard time choking down a hamburger....can you tell which ones?
